Therapy-G: How it Works
The Therapy-G Unique 3 Step Process
|
ANTIOXIDANT SHAMPOO Neutralizes toxins and free radicals in the follicle and inhibits DHT. It allows the hair follicle to function properly. Blood circulation to the scalp is stimulated, bringing nutrients to build healthy hair. The shampoo’s antioxidants work to reduce free radical damage in the follicle, on the scalp, and on each hair shaft. This shampoo restores natural moisture levels to hair, especially beneficial to clients with chemical services or dryness from thermal styling. Clients may feel a tingling effect on their scalp with this shampoo! If you have Chemically treated hair (perm and/or color), I recommend the Formula for Chemically treated to give you additional moisturizing and provides extra-gentle cleansing of the hair. |

FOLLICLE STIMULATOR is Step 2, and is also rinsed. Its benefits, however, linger on each hair shaft and in each hair follicle. This highly effective treatment continues to stimulate blood circulation to the scalp. Your clients will feel a tingling effect with this, also. They will also see a redness appear on their scalp and forehead. This temporary redness will last about 25 minutes. The follicle stimulator attracting the blood to the follicle and scalp surface causes this redness. Follicle Stimulator delivers Typhoon Guard to each hair shaft. This is the patented complex of ingredients, which increases hair’s mechanical strength, increases combability (less tangling), and protects against color changes. It is applied to wet hair, massaged for 15 seconds and left on for one minute, then rinsed. This is the Moist Application Process.
Everyone knows the benefits of a good rinse-off conditioner…detangling, moisturizing, some strengthening. CONDITIONING TREATMENT is a quick-to-use, thorough conditioner that instantly detangles the hair. It produces incredible shine and manageability. Your comb will easily glide through your hair following Conditioning Treatment! Your clients will feel a tingling and invigorating sensation while using Therapy-G Conditioning Treatment.
Towel-dry hair and apply VOLUMIZING TREATMENT. You are now creating thicker, fuller, flexible hair. Tryptobond Guard attaches itself to each hair strand it comes in contact with. It strengthens, nourishes, and improves the texture of thinning or fine hair. Great styling ability WITHOUT fear of breakage is now available! You will be amazed at the shine, thickness, combability, and flexibility of your thin head of hair! It will have a slight sticky feel when applying, however, this will dissipate within 5 minutes, and will leave the hair feeling as though there is nothing in it.
Tryptobond Guard® (An Amino Acid Based Patented Ingredient)
The Follicle Stimulator is design to inhibit the Parathyroid Hormone related Peptide (PTHrP) to slow the transition from the Anagen to Telogen hair cycle (extends the growth cycle of the hair) Research has determined that male or female pattern baldness results from a series of changes in the hair follicle. Changing of testosterone to a substance called DHT for short is what happens in the follicle. The resulting DHT reduces the follicle size until it produced only a thin hair strand. Toxins, medications, substances and foods also are found in hair follicles.
MALE PATTERN BALDNESS
Male pattern baldness is something that 7 - 15% of American males experience by age 25, and almost 40% by age 35. It is a natural, age-related change in the body, and represents over 95% of all hair loss in men. The exact reason and cause of male pattern baldness is not known, though it is clear that our GENETIC makeup is a huge part of it. The HORMONE androgens discussed previously (like testosterone and dihydrotestosterone) also play a big part. Roughly put, the more androgens you have, the faster you lose your hair. The loss of hair follows a horseshoe-shaped pattern (shown in the graphic), with the hair on your sides and back of the head generally being left untouched. You can assess your chances of developing male pattern baldness by looking at your male relatives, starting with dad and grandfathers (most telling is your mother's father's hair pattern - if he has it, you are at high risk). The male pattern baldness genes can come from your mother just as easily, but may be less noticeable since it’s often slower to develop in women. Male pattern baldness often begins slowly at puberty, but may then come on very fast or not at all.
FEMALE PATTERN BALDNESS
For woman, female pattern baldness is the most common type of hair loss (also called androgenetic alopecia). It affects about 20 million women in the US alone, and is highly correlated to GENETICS. It can begin at puberty, but is most often seen after menopause. As we discussed previously, male and female pattern baldness happens when hair that falls out is no longer replaced. Female pattern hair loss is generally a change to thinning hair rather than just falling out, and is more noticeable on the top of the head.
